Using your own power

There is a school of thought that says if we constantly strive for the things we want, by visualizing, meditating etc, then we create a ‘need’ which excludes happiness. That school of thought says that we should firstly accept what we have, whether situation, relationship or material things, then we can simply accept where we are and not be always striving for something else.

The thought has merit. But I think it is the fundamental nature of humans to strive to improve ourselves. As usual, the truth is somewhere between trying to better ourselves and accepting where we are right now. The balance is not always easy to find.

I did some Reiki attunements recently and I realized how powerful the energy world really is (again!). If we take the time to sort out our priorities and express gratitude for what we already have, then I think it’s fine to seek to improve our situation.

Improving your hormones is easy. When they have been measured, they can be re-balanced by relatively simple prescription by a doctor who knows how to manage hormones. Striving to be in better health can only contribute to happiness, not impede it!

If you have had your hormones done, then I strongly advise you to start gently with the medications, in whatever form they are prescribed. It is only by gentle introduction and constant monitoring that balance can be achieved.

As I am putting together the exciting program for our September workshop, I am including more on men’s hormones and how to revitalize your sex life in these menopausal times! There was a huge interest in that area at the seminar recently so I will be doing much more in that and on the science behind the bio identical hormones.

So continue to look for better outcomes for your hormones and for your life generally!
